About Kids Belong

Kids Belong is a non-profit organization working in Ottawa and Muskegon counties to make sure children in foster care and their families have everyday necessities like clothing, coats, shoes, bedding, diapers, etc. They also provide specialty items like toys, school supplies, and Christmas gifts. Kids Belong does much more than just gather supplies year-round to help their community thrive. They focus on supporting families in need with the education and emotional support to empower families to foster, occasionally hosting events for families to connect and build relationships with other foster parents and children. Kids Belong has two locations: at Fellowship Reformed Church in Muskegon, and at Watermark Church in Grand Haven. These locations house the Kids Belong Closets, where foster families can go to “shop” for what their family needs, free of charge.

To learn more about Kids Belong or donate to this amazing organization, visit their website. While Delivering the $1,000 prize, Lascko Services employees got the opportunity to tour the donation closet in Grand Haven and learn more about what Kids Belong continues to do for their community.
